“I Believe In Santa Claus” is a sweet and innocent Christmas song written by John “Fuzzy” Lee and John Kane of The New World Trio. It was inspired by Lee’s children coming home from school in tears after being told there was no Santa Claus…. they thought there weren’t going to be any Christmas presents
The song was recorded by John Lee, his then young children, Ellie and Jared, and three of their friends as a Christmas gift for family and friends.

I BELIEVE IN SANTA CLAUS (LEE/KANE)
Children do you believe in Santa Claus
I only want to ask because someone said it was a lie (oh my my)
But children don’t listen to a thing you’re told
By people with hearts so cold they’d let the magic die
Cause when he comes riding on a silver sleigh
Bringing toys and games to play for every boy and girl
Oh when he comes with Rudolf there to light the way
You will hear the children say all around the world
Oh I believe in Santa Claus oh I believe yes I believe
I believe in Santa Claus yes I believe in Christmas
Children do you believe in Christmas night
When every eye’s shining bright as the stars above
Oh yes and children there’s still a spirit in the air
Like no other time of year it’s the season of love
And when he comes riding on a silver sleigh
Bringing toys and games to play for every boy and girl
Yes when he comes on that Christmas holiday
You can hear the children say all around the world
Oh I believe in Santa Claus oh I believe yes I believe
I believe in Santa Claus yes I believe in…..
Carols singing, kindness to strangers, church bells ringing
Babes in the manger…. ohh ohh
(Instrumental)
Oh I believe in Santa Claus oh I believe yes I believe
I believe in Santa Claus yes I believe in Christmas
Oh I believe in Santa Claus oh I believe yes I believe
I believe in Santa Claus yes I believe in Christmas
